Description: handmodelled; red fabric; off-white slip; in the shape of a slab of clay with flattened back, sides and base (approximately 2.5cm. thick); with a head at the top; incised band of hair across the brow; prominent nose with pierced pellet eyes; no mouth; prominent breasts in applied clay with incised nipples; arms crudely applied with clay strips (the left is badly damaged); and bent round so that the incised hands are below the breasts; incised navel; incised square indicates the genitals surrounded by stippled hair.
